“00-7” First oil painting from direct observation.
“Pibasso” I drew inspiration from geometric patterns that are found within the human anatomy. Taking inspiration from Francis Bacon and Picasso, I experimented with different ways of applying paint to canvas. Using a ziplock bag filled with paint I was able to create texture for the hair
“Metamorphosis 2” I was drawn to the distinction between the scale of lights and darks that were exposed on the figure.
“Metamorphosis” Interested in the destruction of figures, I used distorted views of the model to bring out prominent features.
