Catcher in the Rye

This project was to create a cover jacket for a book including a front/back cover, interior front/back flaps & spine.

Illustrations

The cover art was inspired by a direct quote from the novel itself, “If a body catch a body coming through the rye.” This quote encapsulates the protagonist's view of his youth.

With that in mind, the illustrations were hand-drawn as if it were a doodle taken from Holden Caulfield’s notebook.
